  1. Managing Continuous (Ongoing) Subscriptions

We have a use case where we sell subscription products that are intended to run continuously without a fixed end date. Flexpricer’s current contract-based approach works well, but for this type of subscription, it means contracts reach an end date and generate renewal records, even though the subscription is meant to continue.. It would be great to have a smoother way to handle these ongoing subscriptions, while still maintaining accurate billing and contract tracking over time.

  2. Restrict product location selection

Right now it’s possible for users to ignore product location when pricing. It would be great if this could be restricted so users have to pick a valid location when one is required.

  3. Support Negative Values in Sales Discount

Sometimes we need to apply a negative discount (for example, to increase a price by a percentage). I know its a salesforce limitation to restrict negative discounting, but would be helpful if Flexpricer allowed this behaviour. This would make it easier to handle price uplifts while keeping the price behaviour consistent.

  4. Allow nested product configuration

Some options within the product configurator require additional configuration of their own. It would be great if any option could act as a configurator showing that more setup is required.. Being able to nest configurations would make it easier to model complex configurations.

  5. Add capability for non-linear Price Matrix

For businesses who price their products based on a price matrix, allow a user to select two (or more) matrix dimensions to change the price of a product, where there is no defined relationship between prices. E.g. if I sell garage doors in 20 different widths and 20 different heights, and the price changes non-linearly between width and height (i.e. 400 separate prices), I'd like to be able to select a width and a height on a line item and have Flexpricer identify the correct price in the matrix and set it automatically on the line item. The quantity would be the number of doors of that size to sell. It also needs to be easy to update the matrix.

  6. Automatic grouping of line items

It would be great for there to be some kind of ‘auto-grouping’ capability for line items. E.g. press a button and auto-group by Product Family

  7. Cap subscription price increases to list price

On subscription, there is the ability to uplift a sales price by a percentage on renewal. It would be great if we could ensure that the uplifted price does not exceed list price.

  8. Subscriptions with mixed contract terms

Depending on the deal, some subscriptions need to end on the same contract date, while others need to run on their own. Having the flexibility to change products, pricing, or discounts during the contract period would make these deals much easier to handle. For example, one could apply a higher discount for just the first year of a multi-year contract.

  9. Show price summary for configurators groups

For each configurator groups showing a price summary (such as total sales price and updated price) would help sales users quickly understand the value of that part of the group. This would make pricing reviews and customer conversations much more smoother

  10. Allow collapsing configurators

When building or reviewing larger quotes with configurator products on it, it would be really useful for sales users to collapse a master product and hide all of its options. This would make complex quotes easier to scan and manage, especially when multiple configurators are involved.

  11. Minimum spend handling

In our sales model sometimes there’s a minimum spend requirement which can make quoting small deals tricky. When a customer needs only a few products, sales users often end up adjusting quantities or discounts to reach the minimum spend which can be confusing to see. It would be really helpful if Flexpricer could introduce a capability to handle minimum spend pricing. This would make quoting much easier for sales teams and simpler to explain to customers.

  12. Lock quantity for group members

Currently, group members can have a default quantity, but users can still change it when the product is added. It would be really useful to be able to lock this quantity so it always stays at the default value. This would help in cases where certain options must always be included in fixed quantities and shouldn’t be changed by users.

  13. Bulk update line item values

If we set a value in an optional field display field or a discount, can this value be cascaded to all line items please?

  14. Set Target Total as a percentage

As well as being able to set a Target Total by a currency value, we'd like to specify a target percentage change. E.g. decrease all line items by 10%

  15. Guide sales reps more on quantities - max quantity, min quantity & quantity multiples

Prevent a sales rep selling below a certain quantity or above a certain quantity for a given product. And allow some products to be only sold in multiples (e.g. multiple of 5)
